Under the purview of the the golf committee, a group of members with varying handicaps met last week to address the individual hole handicaps on each course.
Over the past couple of years, both courses have undergone changes to different degrees. The new hole on #1 Lewis as well as the various new tee box placements have provided good cause to address the issue, the golf committee believed.
After extensive discussion, the group of members agreed on a number of changes to the handicaps of several holes.
The most interesting change could be the change to hole #5 (image left), which has been moved from a 13 handicap to 17.
The changes won't take effect until until the current stock of scorecards run out, according to an inside source not wanting to be named.
