Over 100 golfers braved "Northern Irelandesqe" conditions for the 2013 2-man progessive qualifier. With the tough conditions, scoring was up (with Even Par making it in, and +1 getting into a playoff). Congrats to those teams that were able to go low on such a day!

The first batch of new equipment has arrived and Mr. Bill Maynard, our new Director of Golf Maintenance, is pretty excited. Some may have heard that the new equipment will surely result in a staigther ball flight for our golfing members. That is simply misinformation, this equipment actually promotes a draw off the tee box, so please aim accordingly.
For the first time, we utilized real-time scoring for the opening day tournament (team captains listed for the scores displayed below). This was a four-person scramble on Tavern Creek.
Two aces in one day. Greg Mitchell and Mark Allenspach delivered aces for their respective teams in the CCSA Opening Day Tournament. Greg's hole-in-one came on #2 Tavern Creek, while Mark's came on #17 Tavern Creek.
Congrats fellas!
One of our own, Tim Collins, recently double eagled the 507 yeard par 5 #13 hole at the Kelly Plantation. He went Driver, hybrid (from about 210 yards out) and dropped it in the hole. As you may know, an albatross is about 20 times as rare as a hole-in-one. Congrats to Tim.
