Newly Surfaced Tee Boxes on Tavern Creek

GCM has drawn from the new nursery in order to restore a few of the tee boxes on the back 9 of Tavern Creek.  Many of these tees have been historically unable to get enough airflow and sunlight (even with the widespread clearing efforts over the past two years), and simply need new turf on occassion.  The new nursery allows for GCM to draw upon these resources without disrupting the quality of the east driving range (as was the case in previous years).  These new boxes should be open for business in the coming weeks.

Please keep the range balls at the range... no more house money!

The USGA, in partnership with the Masters Tournament and the PGA of America, is pleased to announce the 2nd year of the Drive, Chip, & Putt Championship, a free, nationwide youth skills competition for boys and girls age 7-15.  Registration is now open at www.DriveChipandPutt.com  Here is the listing for our "local" sites within Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas.

Demo Day 2014

Demo Day 2014 was awesome.  Beautiful weather, great food, and all the latest and greatest golf equipment to swing!   Also great to catch up with our touring pro Jay Delsing.  He's rehabbing from back surgery a few years ago, but he's feeling better and hopes to try and Monday qualify for a few Champions Tour starts this summer.  We all remember Jay making the cut and finishing T69 at the 74th Senior PGA in 2013 at Bellerive CC, what a thrill.  Hope to see you out there soon Jay and best of luck!
