Drew Nienhaus placed first in putting in the third and final stage of the National Drive Chip and Putt Championship.
Drew won putting competition and finished 4th overall by one point. She was youngest participant as many of the girls were two years older. Girl that won is a top internationally ranked player and Drew beat her in putting. She handled herself well will all the Golf Channel cameras and such. Father, Jim, was of course a nervous wreck.
Congrats to Ron Davis and Mark Bumgarner. They defeated Greg Springmeyer and Don Teague 1up on the 19th hole of play in the finals of the season-long 2-man progressive tournament.
Craig Fehr made a hole-in-one on hole #12 on Lewis on Sunday. The hole was playing 156 yards from the gold tees and he hit an 8 iron.
