Dear Members,
THANK YOU for your support and dedication that made the Girls Junior PGA Championship a great success! In addition to allowing the competition to be held on the Lewis & Clark Course, many of you volunteered and braved the St Louis heat and humidity to fill 250 positions over the 6-day event.
We have received nothing but praise from both the PGA and the young ladies and their families about how welcoming and supportive each volunteer was and how they helped make the experience so memorable. Hosting a tournament of this magnitude is a big undertaking, and it could not have been done with the approval and support of the members of this club; the further contribution of your time went above and beyond anything we could have asked. The pride you showed for the club was apparent through your being genuine, helpful, and friendly above all else. From the greeters to the marshals to the walking scorers we could not have made it through one of the hottest tournaments of the summer without your help.
The event also showcased the Club on a national stage as well as the local level. The Daily national press releases, photos and videos throughout the competition reached an expanding audience. The videos below recap each day and the photos also do an excellent job telling the story. We were excited to see the St. Louis Post Dispatch here all four days of competition and have been assured that they will be back to cover the Boys Junior PGA Championship next week.

The PGA of America did an outstanding job with this event treating this Championship just as they would any PGA event or tour stop… minus the grand stands. The Rules Committee was comprised of Rules Expert PGA Professionals from all over the USA, starters announced each player, the course was marked, hole location sheets, scoreboards and scorers, the preparations are the same.
