Weiskopf Ivitational Ends in a Thrilling Fashion

Weiskopf Invitational

Congratulations goes to Team Morrish who BARELY defeated Team Weiskopf in last weekend's tournament.  This was the closest match in 10 years.  Co-captians Rob Sedoreck and Zack Potts of the Weiskopf Team took a commanding lead after 9 holes of alternate shot competition.  With Joe Schwent and Greg Bevolo at the helm for Team Morrish, they gained two points on the second 9 in the best ball format.  The third 9 had a total of 12 points available as they moved into individual matches.  All the way through match 5, the scores stayed tied.  Ultimately, victory was claimed by Team Morrish.

Above: Rob Sedorcek, Gateway PGA's 2011 Teacher of the Year, is helping Bob LePoire tune up his game before an important round, it appears.  You can schedule a lesson with Rob via Foretees, or through the pro shop.

The Mulligan Tournament will be a "pre-season" affair where each player will be granted one mulligan per hole (anywhere on the course), but the mullie is of the "must go" variety.  We will have flights for men and women.  Sign up will be through Foretees.
